Hello, I don't have any colonies right now, but in spring I'm planing to look for queens.

There's the problem about the rules regarding the import of ants. I have no idea if we can ship ants trough mail. Most species are the same as Bulgaria, so at least ethically it's mostly fine, I'm not so sure if it's legal.

Yeah under EU law its fine to trade most native European ant species across borders. The problem is with the 'exotic' species. Not that they could pose an invasive species threat (because they would die in Europe winters) but because how they were 'pilfered' from their natural habitats.

In Europe, some domestic species (such as Formica rufa) are protected, and it is illegal to own, keep, buy or sell these ants or to damage their nests. However, unlike for reptiles and spiders, there are no rules for owning, keeping, buying or selling non-protected species.

Hi martinic! I have some ( so, so 10) colonies Lasius niger and others species. I would give you free 1 or 2 or 3 colonies, how mich you want, when you say. It`s my very big pleasure.
